The Barents Holiday Village is located within Teriberka village in Murmansk region at the mouth of a river of the same name between Old and New Teriberka (also known as Lodeynoye) and is set on high ground next to a graveyard of ships.
Located far enough away from the rural dwellings and infrastructure, the Barents Holiday Village offers a quiet and relaxed ambience for a real sense of being at one with the severe and majestic northern nature. The guest house rooms allow for magnificent views over hill masses and the Teriberka Bay coastline at its confluence with the River Teriberka.
A wooden staircase leads from the living facilities to water, where right off the shore is a floating jetty accommodating our fishing and pleasure boats in the navigation season. In autumn and winter, the aurora borealis (Northern Lights) can be seen and photographed right from the balconies of the guest house without fear of lens flare caused by the glare of the village lights.
There is no need to stock up on drinking water, as tap water is supplied directly from a 104 meters deep artesian well. The Barents Holiday Village facilities are well heated by a separate geothermal heating system and are reliably protected against power outages and rolling blackouts by an off-grid diesel power generator. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available in the living quarters.
